Which 6 Habits that make you get fat/obese everyday ? (ST2U.com)

Most of the friends that trying to loss their weight always just use a cup of coffee to replace their breakfast before they rush to their hasty work. At the lunch time, in order to save time , they went to a fast food shop , devouredly and quickly finish their meal. Returned to their home from work at the night time , they will compensatory thenselves with a great meal. After that , they sits in front of the Television , waiting for the end of the day. This type of lifestyle is very common, but as we can know, this is at least 6 Habits will influence our body become fat/obese. If your life is really like what i as mentioned above, then you pile on the pounds is not surprising. So what type of habbit that cause us become fat/obese ?

Eat a big meal
Most of us have too many reasons to having big meal ,like to attend the regular dinner. Marriage feast, friends/guests dinner, many kind of party. but then if we never eat as much as we can ,we will felt sorry to ourselves. As everyone knows , the experts believe that type of eating habit will cause obesity/fat body.In the same time,if we eat more , we need to digest more too, If food that been digest are less than the food we eat. then our body will make a fat storage in our body. Now day, they are some reasons why people taking 5-6 times meal a day , because the frequency of eating more , the body can consume more than 10% calories in our body, therefore develop such a habit , weight loss will be quite easy for you all.But for sure, not big meal for each time you eat.Starve themselves
Once we eat a big meal - what will come in the next? for sure, the following stuff will be starving.why is starving yourself also not helpful in weight lossing? Let us imagine you are trapped in a prison, when the meal given by the guard - what will u do? eat and make a storage of food for your body because you wouldnot know when is the next meal. The same token, if you regularly eat a big meal, and then a hungry, physical storage of food will be the formation of inertia, which will directly lead us to get fat.
Sugar and Caffeine
Excessive consumption of sugary foods, will increase the body's blood sugar level, which would make the body too much insulin, and insulin metabolism of the body have a negative impact. Such a negative impact on performance in more storage of fat in the body, but also more difficult to "burn."

Caffeine on the body and sugar, the same will raise blood sugar levels, slow down the fat "burning" speed. Therefore, if you really want to lose weight, or stay away from sugar and coffee better.Do not eat breakfast
In fact, breakfast is very important to us, it is the metabolism to help actuator. After eating breakfast at eight hours, the body will speed up the burning of fat. If you omit the first meal, a full day of metabolism will be damaged, the consequences can be imagined.
Eating too fast
We should know that was the brain to send a signal that has been eating enough.unfortunately, most of us depend on stomach to tell us that. Actually the braind the physical link have a 20-minutes delay. So in other words, only in 20 minutes later , you will feel you are eating enough of food or get full. So the faster you eat , you do not have a chance to tell your brain that you has been full.therefore, eat slowly is the best habit for weight lossing.
Shortage of drinking water
Metabolic need water to "burn" fat, so if lack of drinking water, the same will make people fat. Under normal circumstances, a person should drink at least eight glasses of water

Why excessive Daytime Sleepiness More Common in Fat/Obese Children With Habitual Snoring ? (ST2U.com)

Today i was wondering why most of the fat/obese are more commom getting excessive Daytime Sleepiness and i found this article By Laurie Barclay, MD,Medscape Medical News.
January 5, 2009 — Excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) is significantly more common in obese children with habitual snoring vs nonobese snoring children, according to the results of a study reported in the January issue of Pediatrics.

"The epidemic of childhood obesity has prompted remarkable changes in the relative proportions of symptomatic overweight or obese children being referred for evaluation of habitual snoring," write David Gozal, MD, and Leila Kheirandish-Gozal, MD, from Kosair Children's Hospital Research Institute and University of Louisville in Kentucky. "However, it remains unclear whether obesity modifies the relative frequency of daytime symptoms such as excessive daytime sleepiness."

The study sample consisted of 50 consecutive, nonobese, habitually snoring, otherwise healthy children and 50 obese children matched for age, sex, and ethnicity. Age range was 6 to 9 years, and body mass index z score in the obese children was greater than 1.67. All participants had an overnight polysomnographic evaluation, followed by a multiple sleep latency test on the following day.

Both groups had similar mean obstructive apnea/hypopnea index values, with episodes per hour of total sleep time 12.0 ± 1.7 in nonobese children vs 10.9 ± 1.5 in obese children. Compared with nonobese children, however, obese children had significantly shorter mean sleep latency (12.9 ± 0.9 minutes vs 17.9 ± 0.7 minutes). Mean sleep latencies were 12.0 minutes or less in 21 obese children but in only 5 nonobese children.

For the whole cohort, there were significant associations among mean sleep latency, obstructive apnea/hypopnea index, proportion of total sleep time with oxygen saturation of less than 95%, and respiratory arousal index. However, the slopes and intersects of the linear correlation of mean sleep latency with any of these variables were consistently greater in the group of obese children.

"The likelihood of excessive daytime sleepiness for obese children is greater than that for nonobese children at any given level of obstructive sleep apnea [OSA] severity and is strikingly reminiscent of excessive daytime sleepiness patterns in adults with obstructive sleep apnea," the study authors write.
Limitations of this study include lack of encephalographic data and inability to determine biological mechanisms.

"In the presence of OSA of similar severity, obese children are at increased risk for EDS," the study authors conclude. "Furthermore, obese, habitually snoring children present magnified reductions in MSL [multiple sleep latency] (ie, increased sleep propensity) at any level of OSA severity. Therefore, the clinical presentation of habitual snoring and sleep-disordered breathing in obese children differs from that of children who are not obese, such that symptoms of EDS and difficulty remaining awake for an obese child should prompt evaluation for OSA."
